WHAT'S YOUR PASSION?

Whether you like short or long term volunteer commitments, you are interested in helping the elderly, the young, families or those with special needs, the Volunteer Action Center provides an outlet to express your passion.

WE KNOW THE NEEDS

The Volunteer Actions Center raises awareness of the value of volunteering through volunteer fairs, media campaigns and speaking engagements.  The VAC has the most up to date information on a wide variety of volunteer opportunities.

 WE'LL MAKE A MATCH!

By picking up a paint brush, putting your technology background to work or utilizing your skill to further the work of  a local nonprofit, you share your interest and the Volunteer Action team will find an outlet for you.

WE LIVE ENERGIZED WHEN WE SHARE OUR PASSIONS

Family Volunteering:
Time is our biggest commodity, yet we want to instill values in our children.  Volunteering as a family is a wonderful way to spend quality time together and help others.
Employee Volunteering:
Builds employee morale, improves teamwork, develops leadership skills and demonstrates that your company "gives back" to our community
Group Service Volunteering:
Group projects can be arranged by calling the VAC.
Volunteer Management Training:
Call the VAC to receive training schedules for upcoming volunteer management trainings.
Church and civic group volunteering:
Often times there are projects that require a number of volunteers . The VAC can assist you to match logical groups with bigger projects .
Teen Volunteering:
The VAC partners with VolunTEEN's, a program of Foundation for Youth, which provides information on local volunteer opportunities for teens.  For more information visit:  http://www.volunteen.net/.
